All About Birthdays and Candles

Nothing is more fun than having a birthday!  The cake, the gifts, the singing Happy Birthday, and the Birthday Cards. You eat the cake,  you use the gifts, you forget the singing, but you keep the cards forever.

My friend, Ethan, turned 9 on May 8th

Speaking of birthdays, I would like to show you an Amazing Candle you can purchase from the SendOutCards gift catalog.

Instead of lighting up a bunch of boring old candles one by one,  you just stick one of these amazing candles in the middle of your cake, light the wick that's supplied with the candle and apply it to the wick of the amazing candle.

What happens next is amazing.  A shower of sparks shoot upward, the candle petals open up like a flower, and all the candles on each of the petals, light up.  (Two circles of candles, 14 candles total).  Then the candle then starts going round and round and plays Happy Birthday To You!

You have to see it to believe it.  Here is a picture of one on my Granddaughter's cake.
